It is not just preterm infants in our neonatal unit that require attention to their development and developmental care. We look after many babies born at or near to their due date that can have underlying medical problems such as heart or surgical conditions.
These conditions mean that they need to be cared for in the neonatal unit after birth. For some of these babies, that can be for several weeks or months. Our specialist team of therapists, nurses and doctors, together with parents, will provide individualised developmental care to your baby to help promote their developmental during their neonatal stay.
