Every child is unique. They all develop in their own time. As they grow, there will be areas of development and learning which will come more easily to them. There will be other areas of development that will be more of a challenge. All babies, children and young people have basic needs that need to be met so they can reach their potential.

In this section you will find information and advice for babies, children and young people. Each of the sections covers what to expect as your child grows and develops from birth to teenage years.

Children's early experiences help to shape their health and wellbeing as adults. Developing healthy habits from a young age can help your child or young person to live a healthy and happy life. It is never too late to start though.

This section includes information about a wide range of topics that families often ask health professionals about. You can find out about things like adaptations, aids and equipment, communication, emotional or mental health, housing, sleep, toileting and lots more.
