It provides free support by trained Bereavement Support Practitioners.
We support families being cared for by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde or who have input from the Royal Hospital Children and who are experiencing:
We provide support sessions for individuals, couples, siblings and families.
There is also a parents and carers support group.
We also offer 1:1 support for staff who are struggling to deal with a death at work or personally and provide staff debriefs on request.
We have an open-door staff drop-in for staff seeking an ad-hoc chat for support at our room in the ground floor atrium of the RHC.
We offer training in Bereavement Awareness, staff resilience and other specialist training relating to Bereavement.
