We offer diagnosis, treatment and support for a whole range of common and complex endocrine conditions in children, within the West of Scotland and for some rare conditions across Scotland.

We are an accredited training centre for Paediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes, and have trained a number of doctors both within and outside the UK.

We have a number of specialist clinics/services, such as Complex Bone, Turners, Prader-Willi, Hyperinsulinism, Gender dysphoria, DSD.(ClinicsSpecialist Clinics)

The consultants are supported by a team of endocrine nurse specialists and junior doctors.

Being referred to paediatric endocrinology

For your child to be seen in our service, you will need to be referred by your GP. You may be also referred by a paediatrician you already see.

Referrals to the outreach clinics are made through the local paediatricians.
